Thomas Fuchs

Thomas Fuchs

Creative Director

Art—in all of its infinite forms—is the catalyst for what Thomas Fuchs does. He’s a furniture designer, creator of stunning Venetian glass, an avid painter…and so much more. Art—is his passion. And that passion passes on through his work.

While training in fine arts at the Corcoran School of Art & Design, Fuchs developed a classical aesthetic with a modern twist that he incorporates into everything he does. Also, his use of the “Golden Mean”—designing within a geometric construct that has proven to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye—has heavily informed his work. This twist on tradition, whether it’s creating chandeliers for a church in Aix-en-Provence and high-end department store Bergdorf Goodman, designing slightly sinister stemware based on the macabre hit “Dexter”, or showcasing various other projects in hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton in Miami, the Bellagio and Venetian in Las Vegas, has made Fuchs highly sought after by designers, architects, interior decorators, and a plethora of artisans. Thomas Fuchs is a creator constantly being inspired, creating work that is always inspiring.

TFC and P&G: Giving Clean Water to the World, One Glass at a Time

Artisanal home goods company, Thomas Fuchs Creative, has partnered with P&G to launch a new line of drinkware to aid in the relief of the global water crisis. TFC Designer Thomas Fuchs and creative collaborator and Co-Owner Michou Mahtani are proud to introduce Foxware by TFC.

Foxware by TFC was inspired by the P&G Children's Safe Drinking Water program, founded on the principal of bringing clean water to people all over the world. The cut glass pieces in the collection are made from recycled glass and are designed to echo the movement of the clean water the initiative represents.

A percentage of each set of glasses sold will go to the fund, seven dollars of which supplies clean drinking water to one child for one year. TFC is honored to contribute their aesthetic to an initiative with such integrity.
